The well-being and development of the Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), and Minorities are important indicators of the strength and success of a democratic society. Specific provisions have been made in the Constitution of India to improve the status of these groups, socially and educationally, so that they can take their rightful place in society. In order to prepare students belonging to SC / ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) and Minority communities to get gainful employment in Central and other services mentioned above, the College is organising Coaching Classes for entry into services for SC/ST / OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) & Minoritieswith the financial assistance from the University Grants Commission.

The basic objective of the coaching programme is to thoroughly prepare students belonging to SC / ST/ OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) and Minority communities to get placements in Central services, State services, or equivalent positions in the private sector. The coaching under the scheme is oriented for particular examinations conducted for selection to services, such as the IAS, State Public Services, Bank recruitment, etc. The classes are conducted, taking into consideration the specific requirements of a particular competitive examination.

Under this scheme, groups of 25 students [most eligible candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) and Minorities] are selected from within the college as well as outside for intensive training under this programme. Experts in the field of teaching and training are arranged as faculties for the smooth conduct of the programme. Faculties from different branches of knowledge such as History, Geography, English, Mathematics, Indian Constitution, Current Affairs, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, Business, Economics, etc. teach various disciplines. Personality development classes and Motivation classes are also organised to keep the tempo of the programme. Classes are mainly conducted at weekends and holidays as per well-defined schedule. Necessary study materials are supplied to students in classes followed by regular evaluation. The participation of the candidate enrolled in the programme is encouraging and many of the participants get placements in government and private sector.
