The inauguration of Physics Association 2025-26
The Physics Association of the Department of Physics, Panampilly Memorial Government College, Chalakudy, was inaugurated with great enthusiasm in a formal function organized by the department on 4 February 2026.
The formal inauguration was carried out by Shri. Arun V, Assistant Professor, Department of Physics, KKTM Government College, Pullut, Kodungallur. In his inaugural speech, he motivated students to cultivate curiosity and develop a research-oriented mindset. As part of the program, Athul Krishna V was awarded a prize for securing Kalaprathibha at the college level. An invited talk was conducted as part of the program, enriching the academic value of the event.
Study Tour 2025-26
The trip was designed to combine geographical exploration, sustainable energy observation, and group activities. The journey covered two prominent hill destinations: Kodaikanal, popularly known as the “Princess of Hill Stations,” and Ramakalmedu, often referred to as the “Cradle of Wind.” The itinerary effectively blended sightseeing with educational experiences, including agricultural exposure at the Cumbum grape farms and the exploration of renewable energy installations, providing participants with both academic insight and entertaining events.
