Department of Commerce
The department offers B.Com (since 1979) and M.Com courses (since 2005-06). The department always tries to maintain a high standard which is evident from its results and performance of the students in competitive and other examinations. The percentage of results and number of creditable grades obtained in both the courses are excellent.The department is professionally managed by a group of eight talented and dedicated faculties. The department is supported by 100% NET-qualified faculties. There are three faculties with Ph.D. Degree, two faculties with M. Phil Degree, two faculties are supervising teachers.
The department offers B.Com (Cooperation) and M.Com courses.
- B.Com: Three years (Six Semester) Degree Programme in Commerce. The college offers B.Com with Cooperation to help the students to take extra advantage of the opportunities offered by the cooperative sector.
- M.Com: Two years (four semesters) Post Graduate Programme in Commerce with Marketing as specialization.
