  • Construction of facilities such as the Main Gate and Compound Wall, Basket Ball Court, Roofing of the College Buildings, the Athletic Stadium Complex, the Indoor Stadium by utilizing the funds from Hon. M L A B.D Devassy.
  • Discussion forums for the elderly people at convenient places outside the campus under the aegis of NSS.
  • Campaigns against the use of all alcoholic liquor including the staging of street plays at different locations of Chalakudy Municipality.
  • Oikos Nomos, the Economics discussion forum regularly organizes interactive lectures on relevant topics of academic interest.
  • Bhoomithra Sena, an environmental club under the aegis of the Ministry of Environment, Government of Kerala.
  • Promotes the activities of students under the leadership of duly elected College Students Union.
  • Processions and staging of Dramas by Sasthra Sahithya Parishad and Calicut University Union to help the students to be aware of social issues and problems.
  • The various clubs/forums such as Bhoomithra Sena, Women’s cell, Pain and Palliative Care Group under the NSS, the Red Ribbon Club etc. actively involved in encouraging the students to participate in the various programmes.
  • Conducts Interactive Programmes to elicit the opinion and viewpoints from the different stake holders with respect to the overall performance of the college.
  • Feedback from parents regularly solicited by way of PTA meetings organized for each class.
  • Annual General Body Meeting of the college level PTA for eliciting the suggestions, recommendations and critical comments regarding the academic output as well as the co curricular and cultural activities taking place in the college.
  • Under the aegis of NSS, the Student Volunteers with the support from the Faculty Members, Leaders of Local Village Panchayats and General Public have constructed and donated two Residential Houses.
  • Socio Economic Survey of Tribal Households of Athirappally Grama Panchayat Conducted by the NSS Units.
  • Extends special consideration with respect to the administrative aspects of the programmes that create a favorable and cordial environment for students and teachers who engage in such activities.
  • Laharivirudha Club: The Anti Narcotic Club conducted a Seminar on Drug Abuse and organized Street Play, Rally and an Antidrug Campaign in front of the Beverage Corporation in Chalakudy town.
  • Socio Economic Survey on the issues of residents in Vettilappara Ward numbers four of Athirappally Grama Panchayat under the leadership of NSS.
  • Red ribbon Club: Takes initiative to promote Blood Donation among students and the local community and organised two Blood Donation Camps in the Campus. AIDS Awareness Programmes organized and a Rally was held in connection with the World AIDS Day.
  • Pain and palliative club: An Ayurvedic medical camp was organized in association with St. James hospital, Chalakudy. Regular visits to Anugraha Sadhan (home for the mentally and physically challenged persons) were made and support was extended for its activities. Four NSS volunteers attended the International Pain and Palliative conference held in Orissa. A Food fest was held for collecting funds and helping the needy people.
  • Energy conservation: Organized Awareness and Quiz Programmes.
  • Environment Day celebrations organized by planting saplings throughout the Campus and organizing Seminars.
  • The different Training Programmes organized by the College pertaining to UGC NET Examinations and entry into Civil Service Employment open to eligible candidates from the general public belonging to underprivileged categories.
  • The college maintains excellent rapport with the leaders of the society and they regularly interact with the college administration.
  • The respective village panchayats were roped in the activities of the college that constructed and donated houses to the homeless.
  • The college has academic relationship with the Industrial Training Institute, Chalakudy and as a part of it various faculty members engaged special teaching sessions there for the benefit of students who needed additional academic support.
  • The NSS unit of the college has received the Best Performing NSS Unit Award in Calicut University for the year 2012-13.
