Women’s Cell
The Women’s Cell at PMGC is a dedicated committee within the college to support and safeguard female students and staff. It’s led by a convener and includes several members (staff or faculty)
Purpose & Activities
The Women’s Cell at PMGC undertakes a variety of roles and functions such as:
- Promoting awareness on women’s rights, gender equality, and social issues affecting women.
- Supporting women’s welfare — providing a safe platform for female students and staff to voice concerns, grievances, or issues.
- Conducting events, campaigns or programs
- Organizing talks, awareness sessions, possibly counselling/support for gender-related or discrimination/harassment issues.
