Free distribution of Menstrual cup and awareness class
An awareness class on Menstrual Hygiene Practices and Sustainable Environment was organized by the Women’s Cell in association with the Haritha Kerala Mission, Government of Kerala. The programme aimed to promote healthy menstrual practices among students while encouraging environmentally sustainable alternatives. The event was inaugurated by the Vice Principal, Shri. Albert Antony, who emphasized the importance of menstrual health awareness and the need to adopt eco-friendly menstrual products for the well-being of both individuals and the environment.
The Block Coordinator, Sri Tinu Antony addressed the audience. As part of the programme, 170 students received menstrual cups free of cost. The awareness session handled by the Block Coordinator, Smt. Sreeda P.A provided detailed guidance on the safe use, maintenance, and benefits of menstrual cups.
Talk on Body Shaming as Bullying
A talk on the topic Body Shaming as Bullying was organized by the Women’s Cell on 2011 2025 at the seminar hall. The event was presided over by the Principal Dr. Shaju K. S. and IQAC coordinator, Sri. Shinto. M. Kuriakose felicitated the event. The session was led by Adv. Cuckoo Devaki, Practicing Lawyer, Thrissur Bar Association. The program concluded with active student interaction where they shared their personal experiences.
